How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Plan Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

Online Draft
New partner will participate in Online Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

Hi! I’m ready to “make offer.” I think we’re on the same page on exchanges, but we can discuss after I’m on board. A final question: what’s the timing on payment to you? Also, do you prefer Venmo or a personal check?
  • Hi again, I responded to you in a earlier message with more info, but it looks like it is still "pending review" (and therefore unposted). Not sure why the posting was blocked, but I'll try to send parts of the info in pieces ... On payment, I asked members for a nominal deposit in August (when I was first billed). Fifty percent payment is due by the end of the year, and the remaining balance needs to be paid before I distribute tickets. Venmo is much better for me.

I’ve not led a ticket group, but my understanding from my last season’s group leader is that you have the ability to designate up to 6 members as “partners.” This enables us to exchange on our own (through the MLB site) the tickets that you’ve transferred to us. Your Nats account rep can explain if necessary. That said, I think I’m about ready to make an offer. One other question: what’s the timing for paying you (via Venmo). My understanding is you’re probably paying on a monthly basis starting a few months ago. Would I pay periodically?
  • Hello. I have a well run ticket group with partners who have been with me since Nats Park opened. I posted on this site b/c I lost some members with health problems, but we have not run our draft (and I have not transferred tickets) through this portal in the past. I sent a message this morning to my ticket rep regarding making this system work with my existing system and will follow-up when I hear back. On payment, I asked members for a nominal deposit in August (when I was first billed). Fifty percent payment is due by the end of the year, and the remaining balance needs to be paid before I distribute tickets.

Hi. I touched base last week on the ability to exchange tickets. I’m interested in probably 14 games. To put a finer point on my question, for games that I can’t attend (for example, I’m away for most of July) I’d like to be able to exchange for other games through the Nats website rather than simply sell the tickets back to the group and lose allotted games. That’s what I was able to do this past season by being designated a “partner” by the leader of our group. That gave me the ability to make exchanges for games and seats of my choosing. Of course, I’d be fine offering first to trade with group members for games I’d want to attend, but I think that would to be really hit or miss and far less efficient. So, could I obtain a” partner “ designation? Please let me know if it would be helpful to discuss live.
  • It would be very helpful to discuss live. How do we do that? I did not mean to imply that you would sell back to the group. Because I usually have more tickets than I need, I have sometimes made transactions for people using my extra tickets b/c that allows group members to pick up games in our seats, if they want. We have a list-serve to communicate between group members and the goal is to make more people better off whenever possible. For some people, that means they make their own exchanges, as partners.
