How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Plan Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

In Person Draft
New partner will participate in an In Person Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. If a partner cannot attend a date, efforts shall be made to ensure partners picks are fairly selected (for example, ability to call in selection, or the option to send another person to make picks). Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

looking for mid-week evening games 2-4 tickets to some combination of the following: 5/11 (BAL), 5/23-24 (SEA), 6/12-13 (ATL), 6/26-28 (CHC), 7/5 (NYM), 7/6 (ATL), 7/25-26 (MIL), 8/7-10 (MIA), 8/15 (LAA), 9/7 (PHI), 9/12 (ATL). What can you offer on these?
  • Robert, Sorry, I can't give you the entire list - the O's and Cubs are prime games. It doesn't sound like you're in need 4 tix/twenty games but that's what I'd need to part w/one of the 4 Cubs games. Hope this still works for you. /Lou

Thanks, Lou. I dont think we need parking. With regards to the payment method, paypal is ok, but i prefer a corporate check. This is a business expenditure so I prefer that it come straight from the company. I could get a check out pretty quick so there wont be any concerns about it clearing in time. LEt me know. Would like seats on the 129 side if possible, or to split them up.
  • Angela here now...Lou said OK with no parking and also a corporate check is fine. I'll get you those details later. He will work it out with you on the section - all 129 is fine, half and half is as well or as needed if you can be flexible. Let's pick a time to talk once this is finished to work out the details.

Hi Angela - I made the offer. Once you accept it I beleive your email is revealed (and vice versa) and we can chat directly on the details. Thanks much. Greg
  • Hi Greg, pinch hitting for Angela. I just sent you a counter offer - the only counter in the message is to offer PayPal as a payment option. Our link is PayPal.Me/LNovick. Didn't see a place to counter re the parking - that's $43/game. Want to confirm that with you. This whole message thing - feels like were in junior high and one of our parents screens all the calls. I guess we'll talk when were legal. Lou

Thanks, Lou. I'll do 10 games if that works for you. Full transparency, I'm making a change from last years group (more of a broker) and trying to get into a share going forward. One of my business partners liked the club seats from last year so we're going to split our allocation between two groups and see which works best for us. If you're good with that, we'd love to jump in. We're easy to work with and hopefully it turns into something more long-term. And, I wont email nearly as much once the season starts.... Best, Greg
  • Good morning Greg, glad to have you on board. Hope it works for you/r partner. I haven't looked for partners in several years so I'm not sure how we go forward. My assistant Angela Shealy will handle it so she'll be in touch - if not later today early next week. Once we can exchange contact information I'll be in touch and we can talk about games. /Lou

Ha! I understand. I might be able to do ten. Two more questions: Is there an opportunity for playoff tickets (proportional I'm sure) and if we find the seats fit our needs would we be able to participate next year too? Thanks and I'll let you know which direction I am going shortly.
  • 1) I play it straight as possible. choices/ allocation of games, days (weekdays/weekends etc.) appreciate you understand proportional. Re playoffs - will try to get you in to ea round but it may be a 6th or 7th game and/or it may be two seats - again proportional. 2) don't think I'm not enjoying these getting to know you e-mails...but I prefer to have the same folks from year to year. Been pretty stable for a number of years; this year lost a 20 game member and I'm keeping fewer for myself than in previous years. /Lou

Hi - Looking at maybe only 5 - 10 games at 4 tix per game. Would you sell that amount?
  • Ten yes - five is tough; that's going to get me in trouble with my assistant who has to handle all the distribution.

Hi - Looking for 10-20 games. 4 seats. Do you have that many available. Thanks,
  • Hi, Yes I do. I own two sets of four: 117 Row P and 129 Row P.

Would you be willing to sell 2 tickets instead of 4
  • Maybe yes. Two things though: 1) it can't include the parking pass option; however at this time I'm pretty certain it's easy to get single game parking for most if not all games. 2) @ 10 games draft allotment would be 5 NL East (more if desirable) + 5 from rest of teams excepting CHI, STL, O's, SF, LAD. Let me know if this works
