How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Plan Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

In Person Draft
New partner will participate in an In Person Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. If a partner cannot attend a date, efforts shall be made to ensure partners picks are fairly selected (for example, ability to call in selection, or the option to send another person to make picks). Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

So, I've submitted an offer, twice, and its expired both times without a response. Should I assume you've been busy and resubmit? Or should I take no response as a rejected offer? Unfortunately, the offers expire automatically after just 3 days.... thanks, Randy
  • Hi Randy, sorry for the delay. Here's the situation... The tickets I offered are in my partners' account. He said he was "in" to sell them, but I need him to re-allocate the tickets from his account back to mine, and he hasn't done that yet. He has Caps season tix too so he may be a little busy these days. If you don't mind, please leave an open question here, and I'll respond to it as soon as I hear back from him. Sorry for the to-and-fro. It would be easier if we could just email each other, but I understand why we can't. Best...

Could I buy 4 games? Thanks!
  • Yes, I would be open to it. Please list 8-10 (or more) games that you are interested in buying, and I will try to find 4 that work. Please note that earlier message was in error -- PRIME games are $70/ticket; REGULAR games are $60/ticket. You can see which are which on the Nats website.

The "rules" for this site suggest that an offer for less than the "minimum" will not be considered. Nonetheless, I'd be interested in any of the following dates: June 4, 5, 19, 24; July 3, 7, 17; Aug 21, 25, 27; or Sept 3, 4, 8, 9, 21, 22, 23. I'm looking to supplement our own full season plan and am only interested in 6-8 games, please. Thanks, Randy
  • I can offer you these 6 games -- June 5, 19; July 17; Sept 4, 21, 22. Total for 6 games * 2 seats * $60 would be $720.

Have you apportioned your games with your partner? do you know which remaining games you have available? Thanks, Randy
  • Yes, specific games are now available. Two updates: (1) weekend games are $70/ticket instead of $60 (didn't realize this was face value), and (2) I can probably only part with 6-8 games total. If you provide me with a list of 12-15 possibilities, I will try to find as many as possible that work. Thanks for your interest...

Dear Sir (or Madam, depending on who responds): I would like to purchase 10 pairs of tickets, with a preference for weekdays and Saturday day games. I look forward to learning how one selects the specific dates. Thank you, Paul
  • Thanks for your question. I have not yet figured out exactly how to apportion the tickets. Sat day games tend to be tops of everyone's list and therefore harder to part with (there are only 9 all season). If you provide me a list of perhaps 20 games that you would be willing to accept, I will see if I can guarantee, say, 2 Saturdays. Does that sound fair?

    What games are still available.
  • Supply is running out. I’ve got Brewers, Sun, Jul 20; Phillies, Sun, Aug 3; Mets, Wed, Aug 6; and D-Backs, Mon, Aug 18. The two Sunday games are going to be prime tickets, so I would need to charge more for them ($75/ticket; $150/game). The two week-night games will be $60/ticket; $120/game. LMK if you’re interested.

At this point in time, how many games have you left to sell?
  • I still have about 15 games left, mostly in Jun, Jul, Aug. How many are you looking for? Any particular types of games? LMK, and I'll tell you what's left.

Oddly my browser at work doesn't support Dashboard, but I'll handle the completion of the transaction when I get home tonight. Thank ou.
  • Sounds good. Thanks!

I really appreciate your seeing what else you have. Can we finalize the purchase for 4/23, 6/5, and 9/24? I know that's fewer than I had hoped, unfortunately the other dates won't work. Thanks very much.
  • Yes, that's fine. Submit an offer for those 3 games, and I'll accept it. If you decide you want more later, check back with me.

I'm sorry, 8/20 is already booked for us, please also let me know what other W, TH or Friday games you have in August, likewise for Sept. Thanks again. Hopefully we can finalize today and I can get you the pay pal payment and we can arrange delivery. Thanks again.
  • I have Tue, 8/19, but no other Wed, Thu or Fri games in August. Sorry!

Great. The first three dates work. Do you have anything in September?
  • I have Wed, 9/24, Mets. Would that work?

    Per yesterday's Q&A - I would be interested in any of the following: Game 1: 4/23, 4/24. or 4/25 Game 2: May 30 or June 5 or 19, Game 3: August 1, 20 or 22, and Game 4: Sept. 5, 25 or 26. Thanks very much.
  • I can sell you 4/23, 6/5 and 8/20, but I don't have many Sept games. How about 7/20? Or propose a different 4th?

Hi There - Any chance you would sell 4 or 5 games instead of 8, thank you.
  • Yes, possibly; which games are you interested in?

How many partners do you have at the moment?
  • I have rec'd an offer from one additional partner so far.

Are seats closer to 219 or 221? Also what is minimum # of games to get half of playoff tix (I am optimistic this year!)...
  • Seats are on aisle across from 219 (closer to home plate). Half season (40 games) gives you half share of post-season. I'm optimistic too!
    User Image
  • User Image
Interested, but also interested in potential post-season tix. You mention half package will convey half of post-season, but not sure what half package is... 30 games? That is half of current 60 available... Or do you want some to take 41 (half season?)...
  • I'm flexible. Feel free to make a proposal.

Is 10 games the system minimum or your group minimum? What would be the breakdown of the 20 games that you would hold? Would they be held out of the draft?
  • Group minimum. Gets too complicated otherwise... No cherry picking. My 20 will be chosen in the same draft.
    User Image
  • User Image
Okay, I would do the same thing but can you give us a pattern as to what those games will look like? mainly weekends or weekdays? Random? I'm not willing to make an offer if I don't have a better idea of the available games...thank you
  • I have not looked at the schedule, but in general, I want to be fair. I will not cherry pick, and I don't want to have any one cherry pick games from me or anyone else in the group. However many partners end up in our group, we'll arrange an equitable mechanism for choosing based on how many games everyone is taking. Does that make sense?

Hi, how many partners do you have already? I noticed 60 games are left, does that mean that you've reserved 22 games for yourself?
  • Several people have expressed interest but as of Jan 13, no blocks of tickets have been taken. And yes, we are hoping to hold on to approx 20 games for our personal use.
