Looking for 1-2 new partners to join our group. Great seats behind the Nationals dugout, section 128. You can buy either 2 or 4 seats to a game; use a combination of 2 and 4 ticket games. Asking for a 20 ticket commitment. Games allotted based on interest of the opponent and based on number of total tickets a person has bought for the season. The more tickets you have, the more options you have. We do not do a draft as almost everyone has a different number of tickets. Will explain once you decided how many tickets you are buying. We always try to get everyone the games they are interested in attending but cannot make promises. You will not get any games that you can't make (out of town, vacation, work, etc). If you get all four tickets to a game, you will also need to buy the parking pass we have for lot B.
Games Available:
10
Price Per Ticket:
$78.00

How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Plan Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

Online Draft
New partner will participate in Online Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

Hi - Just checking in on these tickets. We are looking for four seats: 10- 20 games. We are in a share currently but thinking about making a change. Is there a playoff ticket allocation too based on numbers of games? Thanks. Greg
  • Greg- turns out we are all set for this season. But, if there is a particular game you are interested in going (either 2 or 4 tickets) let me know. You can take them for a "test ride". Where are your current seats located? Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. Mark T Virginia Heart

Would you be willing to sell 2 tickets to 12 games?
  • Paul, That would be fine. Just to let you know how we work the tickets. We have 4 seats, section 128 row V. You can get either 2 or 4 seats to each game. Some people get 2, some people get 4, some people get a mix of 2 and 4. We have parking in lot B, the one closest to the stadium. It costs $43/game. If you buy all 4 tickets to a game, you automatically buy the parking for that game. If two people get 2 tickets each to a game, only one person gets the parking. You'll probably get at half of your games with parking but we work things out. Some people always want parking and others don't want parking. So if you buy 2 tickets to 12 games (24 tickets) you will also need to buy at least 6 parking passes (half the games) though you may end up with more or less depending if you want more or if someone else you are matched up with wants more. So the price would be 24 tickets x $75 dollars ($1800) + 6 parking x $43 ($258) = total $2058. Also, I wanted to let you know how we divide up the tickets. Everyone puts in a list of games under 3 categories: most wanted, games okay to go to and games you cannot go to (on vacation, etc). We then make a spreadsheet of everyone's requests. You can request either 2 or 4 tickets to the game. If you are the only one wanting a particular game, you get that game. If more than one person wants a game, we sort it out. Perhaps one of the two can go to a different game in the same series. Tie breakers go to those who have the most tickets. We don't do a lottery since everyone has a different number of tickets. Some have 20 tickets, some 40, some 50 and some 70-80. Hope that makes sense. I know it's a lot of information. It has worked very well for the past 11 seasons. We've had the tickets from the start. Most people have been with the group for many years but there are always a few changes year to year. As I mentioned, we are in No. VA. Let me know what you think. Thanks again. Mark T

Thanks for reaching out Mark. We are all set and joined a ticket share last year and are going to stick with the same group.
  • Not a problem. Hope they are good tickets. Sorry we didn't have enough to offer you last season. If something changes, feel free to reach out again. Mark T Virginia Heart

Mark- let me know if you are no longer actively looking for partners. I sent in an offer and didn't get a response so don't want to re-submit it if you have a full group. Thanks - Adam
  • Adam, Hope you are doing well and enjoying the holiday season. I wanted to see if you were interested in joining the group for the upcoming season. Last year, it turned out that we only had very limited tickets - 10-15 so it didn't work out with you as you had wanted 40 tickets. For the upcoming season, we will have 30 or so tickets. As a reminder, we have 4 seats, section 128 row V. You can get either 2 or 4 seats to each game. We have parking in lot B, the one closest to the stadium. It costs $43/game. If you buy all 4 tickets to a game, you automatically buy the parking for that game. If two people get 2 tickets each, in those instances, only one person gets the parking. So if you get 4 tickets to 5 games (20 tickets) you will also need to buy the 5 parking passes to those games (making the price per game $340 = $75 x 4 for the seats + $43 parking). Also, I wanted to make sure you knew how we divide up the tickets. We don't do a full lottery since everyone has a different number of tickets. Some have 20 tickets, some 40, some 50 and some 70-80. Hope that makes sense. As I mentioned, we are in No. VA, VirginiaHeart Thanks again. Mark T

Mark, The $75 price is fine, but I think you may need to adjust the price in order for me to send an offer in with the price for 2016 tickets. I am in DC, so getting to NOVA should be easy. Adam
  • I realized that I hadn't mentioned the parking. We have parking in lot B, the one closest to the stadium. It costs $40/game. If you buy all 4 tickets to a game, you automatically buy the parking for that game. Sometimes we split the 4 tickets (two people each get two tickets to a game). In those instances, only one person gets the parking. So if you get 4 tickets to 5 games (20 tickets) you will also need to buy the 5 parking passes to those games (making the price per game $340 = $75 x 4 for the seats + $40 parking). To include this in the Nationals tickets payment (because it won't allow me to put in the parking cost) it would make the price $85/ticket. So $3000 for the 20 tickets and $200 for the 5 parking passes. So I have to adjust the cost again to make it work. (If you end up deciding to do some 4 seat games and some 2 seat games, we will adjust things later.) Hope this all makes sense. Are you a dentist downtown?

How do you divide up special event tickets like playoffs? Is it a lottery based on # of tickets purchased? Another method
  • Exactly, playoff tickets are a lottery based on number of tickets. We've found that basically everyone in the group ends up with some tickets. We also are able to buy additional playoff tickets before they go on sale to the public. No as good as our regular tickets but usually pretty good.

How do you all handle playoffs?
  • Right now all tickets are spoken for but I'm sure that there will be a couple of games that are available up once we sort out the tickets. Each year, a couple of people in the group decide last minute to change their number of tickets. If you'd like, please let me know how to contact you. Thanks. Mark
